LP3 is large with the length of 18.86 and the width of 14.21 inches which is big enough for me to draw or design. Although it is big, it is thin and portable. It is very slim with the thickness of 0.31 inch and it weights only 1.65 KG which is easy for me to carry around.

Just like other light pads on the market, Litup LP3 also has a touch switch on the left top of the light pad which can be used to adjust the brightness easily only by pressing the switch for 1-3 seconds. The light pad s super bright and it works normally even in the dark environment.

Similarities:

When I noticed that the light box can widely used in tattoo tracing, professional copy in animation and cartoon, drawing and designing, used as X-ray viewer as well, I decided to purchase one light pad have a try. It seems it is a magic product which has lots of functions. Since I have a clinic myself and sometimes I have to view X-ray to diagnose the patient’s problem, therefore I’d like to have one light pad which is brighter. I finally chose Litup LP-B4 after I comparing the item to other light boxes.

Huion L4S is one best seller on online stores and the price is affordable. But it is a little small for me. I have read the customer reviews and most of them use it for tattoo tracing. I kept on searching other light pads, and suddenly I found the Litup LP-B4 which is similar to Huion L4S .I made a comparison between them.

Similarities:

1.      Both of them have acrylic panel and looks solid.

2.      They all have a touch switch which used to control the illumination only by pressing it until I get my desirable light. It is a considerate design I think because I can adjust the light based on the environment. With this touch switch, I can find a most comfortable light for my eyes and it won’t hurt my eyes easily.

3.      From the description they all have used the eyesight protected technology. With the LED lamps inside the light box, the light is even and bright.

 

Differences:

Although L4S and LP-B4 have lots of similarities, they also have differences.

1.      Different working area. Just as I have mentioned above, LP-B4 is larger than Huion L4S. Litup LP-B4 has the length of 15.63 inches and the width of 11.81 inches. While L4S is a little smaller with the length of 14.17 inches and the width of 10.63 inches.

2.      LP-B4 is slimmer than L4S. LP-B4 has the thickness of 0.2 inches and L4S is 0.27 inches. Anyway, it is portable and light for me. Sometimes, I also take the light pad home for my son because he likes drawing. I am going to send him another light pad which will be suitable for him. It seems the Litup LPS5 is impressive.

3.      LP-B4 is much brighter than L4S. As a X-ray viewer, I think the light is the key point. I need one light pad just like LP-B4 which is bright enough for me to work.

4.      Another difference is the scale of size. L4S comes with centimeter on the board. However,LP-B4 comes with the inch which fits my need more.

Review of Litup LP3 Light Pad

I am glad that I’ve purchased the Litup LP3 tattoo tracing board. On one hand the price is affordable of less than $80. On the other hand, the light pad helps me a lot in character art and jewelry photography.

Pros:

1.      The LP3 was packaged perfectly and there is no damage when I receive it. It wrapped with lots of bubble wrap. Besides, there are two foams to protect the light pad surface from scratching and attacking. And there are also four foam protectors on each angle. I think that’s why the item is in good condition.  

 2.      LP3 has large working area of A3 size which allows me to draw freely without worrying about the limit space. Although LP3 is large, it is thin and light. It is only 0.31 inches in thickness and it weights only 1.65KG which is portable for me to take it home from office.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      

3.      One outstanding feature of LP3 I think is its super bright illumination. There are LED lamps inside it which provides bright and even light for me. With the super brightness, I can draw clear outlines in picture. Unlike other LED lamps that stunning people’s eyes, LP3 comes with even illuminating which won’t hurt my eyes easily. It said that LP3 has used the eyesight protected technology.

4.      Compared with other light pads on the market, I noticed that LP3 has scale size of inch instead of centimeter. I think inch fits my needs more. It helps a lot.

      5.      I have used for several hours continually and I found that it produces little heat and it is suitable for long hours working.

Cons:

In short, I am satisfied with LP3 and I recommend it to all those who need light pads. Such a nice light box with such low price is rare. However, the only con I think is the cord, it is a little short for me. But I don’t care much about it because I have lot of extension.
